My name is Veronica Rose, I'm an artist, designer and photographer based in Naarm / Melbourne Australia. Have a wander through this garden - stay a while to smell the roses - I'm so glad we've found each other My work is about the unity between traditional artforms and the digital age. I like to find new ways to imbue digital work with humanity, incorperating my own original photographic material, analog methods of design and historial reference. I create my work without the use of any stock images or graphics. During my career I have a gained a Bachelor of Design with a Major in Fashion, and have a background providing freelance design services for local fashion labels. I'm a sucker for the romantic and whimsical but I pride myself on my ability to adapt to each new design adventure. About this Project:
'The Feminine Divine' is a mock 'divintation' card set inspired the tarot. Tarot decks are tradiontally ornate , spiritual and distinctly informed by by-gone art styles - as is this project! This deck is inspired by the art nouveau movement and the style of many Byzantine icons.
Project 2:
CAST: Couture/Fabric Printing Look Book
About this Project:
The original prints within this collection are inspired by the vascular systems in the body. The prints are created using the analogue photographic method of Cyanotype, which is a form of negative printing. The negatives are a series of 6 hand cut stencils, designed digitally, printed, mounted to cardboard, and cut by hand. The original illustrations can be seen in my book spread ‘Anatomy of the Spirit’. This printing is paired with North American smocking, which is applied as an abstract impression of the shape and form in the body, cut from patterns devised to produce zero waste – in an effort to apply sustainable practice.

About this Project:
This is a branding project completed for a Melbourne based digital marketing company. The project functioned as a complete re-design, the goal of which was to modernise and mature the brand while staying true to the previous story and the underlying core values and visual language.

ANKEDOTE: 'I'm an English Man' Look Book & Branding
About this Project:
This project is an example of a look book concept with simple swing tags, label design and technical illustration, similar to those I have created for my clients. A full technical design package would include all branding materials to scale in black and white with measurements, as with any digital renderings of collection styles, in a corresponding and cohesive specification sheet - ready for your manufacturer.
